Rasterless turns PNG, JPEG, WEBP, BMP, GIF and AVIF images into SVG, PDF, EPS and DXF vectors, so your artwork is ready to cut, print, engrave or plot.

Which format for which job
One conversion, up to five files. Pick the ones your next step asks for.
| Format | For | Opens in | What is inside |
|---|---|---|---|
| SVG | Logo & web, cutting machines | Browsers, Illustrator, Inkscape | <path> elements only |
| Print, sharing a proof | Any PDF viewer, Illustrator, Inkscape | The same shapes as cubic curves | |
| EPS | The file a print shop asks for | Illustrator, Inkscape | The same shapes as cubic curves |
| DXF | CNC, laser, plasma | AutoCAD 2010 and later, Fusion 360, LightBurn, Inkscape, FreeCAD | R2010 · LWPOLYLINE and SPLINE · one layer per colour |
| PNG | A quick look, a raster copy | Anything | Pixels of the traced result |
How it works
One image per conversion.
- 01Drop
Drop or choose the image — one per conversion.
- 02Colours
Set the colour count: 2 for a plain silhouette or stencil, 8 to 16 for a flat logo, more for artwork with shading.
- 03Formats
Tick the formats you need: SVG, PDF, EPS, DXF, PNG.
- 04Download
Run it, open the preview at full size, then sign in with Google to download.
Upload an image and you get vector files back: SVG, PDF, EPS, DXF or PNG. Not a picture wrapped in a vector container — the SVG holds <path> elements only, and the DXF carries LWPOLYLINE and SPLINE outlines with one layer per colour. You can open the result in Illustrator, Inkscape, Fusion 360, LightBurn or FreeCAD and edit the geometry.
Files up to 25 MB and 40 megapixels are accepted, one image per conversion. If an image is predicted to take more than two minutes, it is refused straight away with a suggested lower colour count, rather than running until the time budget ends. Anything above 1.5 megapixels is scaled down before tracing, so the output's pixel dimensions come back smaller than the original — if the finished physical size matters, type it into the millimetre fields instead. The size in millimetres applies to all four vector formats, and the DXF declares millimetres explicitly ($INSUNITS = 4).
Zoom in on one detail
At preview size a raster looks sharp too. Both halves below are the same region of the same picture, magnified from the two files we hand you.

Cricut Design Space and Glowforge take the SVG; Silhouette Studio's base edition will not, so you also get DXF R2010 — real polylines and splines, one layer per colour.
Questions
The short answers. Everything else is on the guide page.
Do I need an account?
Converting and previewing are open to everyone; downloading the vector files takes a free Google sign-in. Before you sign in you get 10 conversions per hour; signed in, 60 per hour and 300 per day.
Is there a watermark?
No. The files you download are the files the engine produced.
What happens to my image?
Download links expire after 1 hour. Uploaded images and generated files are removed by an automatic 1-day deletion rule and are never used for anything else.
Can I upload an SVG or a PDF?
No — the input is a raster image; SVG, PDF, EPS and DXF are output formats.
Can I convert a folder of images at once?
No, one image per conversion.
Which DXF version comes out?
DXF R2010 (AC1024), which opens in AutoCAD 2010 and later, Fusion 360, LightBurn, Inkscape and FreeCAD. It contains outlines — LWPOLYLINE and SPLINE — on one layer per colour, with no hatch fill.
Does it use AI?
No. It is a geometric tracer: colour segmentation, an explicit anti-aliasing model and curve fitting. There is no trained model in the pipeline.
